Pricing
Ear Wax Removal
We charge £55 to remove ear wax from one ear, or £65 for both ears.
If no wax is present in the ear canal, we will take a bit more time to investigate what's going on. Usually we will use tympanometry to measure the pressure in the middle ear cavity (behind the eardrum) and provide advice on how to alleviate any sense of blockage you may have. The charge in this case is £35.
Follow up appointments (where it takes more than one appointment to clear the ears) are charged at £25.
We offer discounts for frequent flyers! So if your last appointment (with us) was within the last 6 months, we take £10 off, if it was within 3 months you get £15 discount.
Hearing Assessments
We charge £50 for a pure-tone audiometry hearing test, which includes video otoscopy and full history-taking, plus a consultation afterwards to discuss the results.
We also offer the QuickSIN speech-in-noise test at an additional cost of £25.
Hearing Devices & Aftercare
We offer hearing aids and assistive listening devices from the world's leading manufacturers, and are fully independent, which gives us the freedom to fit whatever suits you best.
Hearing aids range in price depending on the technology level of the chip inside, and are available in many different sizes and formats. Prices range from around £2,500 for a pair of entry-level devices, up to around £4,500 for top-of-the-range.

Home visits
We are able to provide almost all the services we offer in the clinic in comfort of your own home. We charge a little extra to account for the additional time required, and travel costs.
The home visit fee is normally £30, but will vary a little according to the distance you are from Bath Street!
Hearing Protection & Earplugs
Custom hearing protection ranges in price depending on options chosen (e.g. colours, cords, engraving) but the following list will give an idea. Prices per pair:
